ATMEGA32A is featuring 32KB self-programming flash program memory in it’s 40 pin, 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller from Atmel. It is a low power yet high performance microcontroller that has 2KB SRAM, 1KB EEPROM, 8 channel 10-bit Analog to Digital converter. For the debugging and programming support, JTAG interface and an on-chip-debugger is also available in this microcontroller unit. The device achieves 16 MIPS throughput at 16 MHz at 2.7-5.5V operation.
2.7V-5.5V opens up a wide range of input voltage range that is suitable for both 3.3V and 5.5V operations. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the device achieves throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz, allowing you to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.
Additional peripheral supports are - 32 x 8 I/O registers, UART, I2C and SPI interface, PWM, Timers etc.
