Description

The LM358 is a single-supply dual op-amp IC that integrates two op-amps that are powered by a single power supply. It is one-half of the LM324 Quad op-amp, which contains four op-amps with a shared power supply. These dual operational amplifiers function with low power drain, a common mode input voltage range extending to ground/VEE, and single or split supply operation, by using the circuit designs perfected for Quad Operational Amplifiers. The differential input voltage range can be the same as the power supply voltage range. The operating temperature ranges from 0 C to 70 C at ambient, with a maximum junction temperature of 150 C. The LM358 can be used as a transducer amplifier, a DC gain block, and so on.
