This is a surface-mounted DPDT slide switch. A DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) switch is made up of two SPDT switches that can control two different circuits but are always connected by a single actuator. It has six pins and can switch 0.3 amps @ 6V by sliding a 2mm mini actuator. Slide switches are commonly found in electric toys, music equipment, fax machines, test instrument equipment, laptops, and remote control devices that have limited PCB area and height limits and other low-voltage circuit electrical devices.
