PAM8403 is a Class D 2-channel audio amplifier. PAM8403 Stereo Module provides high efficiency and low harmonic distortion. PAM8403 module can drive the speakers directly and requires no low pass output filter as it features new filter less architecture. PAM8403 module consists of 8 pins +OUT-L, -OUT-L, INL, INR, -OUT-R, +OUT-R, 5V and GND. GND is connected to the ground of the circuit and 5V is connected to the positive terminal of the power supply. +OUT-L and -OUT-L pins are for left channel positive output and left channel negative output respectively. Similarly, +OUT-R and -OUT-R are used for right channel positive output and right channel negative output respectively. INL and INR are two inputs pins. INL is for left channel input and INR is used for right channel output.
In this module double panel wiring is done for resolving crosstalk issue. Size of this module is very compact hence can be fitted on different projects very easily. This module also provides short circuit protection and thermal shutdown. PAM8403 2-channel stereo module is widely used in notebook computers, LCD monitors, portable speakers and DVD players, game machines, etc.
